The missions
For our Maison Cheval Blanc Paris, we are looking for a Room Apprentice for our Café Maxime Fréderic x Louis Vuitton (M/F).
The apprentice is responsible for setting up the point of sale and maintaining it in an optimal state of cleanliness and supply throughout the shift. They liaise between the outlet and its suppliers (kitchen, commissary, cellar, stewarding, etc.). He/she assists the head waiter in his/her duties and ensures optimum customer satisfaction.
These duties are necessarily subject to change in order to meet the company's requirements in terms of adapting to its needs, on the one hand, and the full development of the jobholder's skills, on the other. Consequently, these changes cannot be considered as a modification of the employment contract, as long as they do not lead to a reduction in the jobholder's qualifications.
Main activities :
- Clean and set up the point of sale according to hotel and restaurant procedures,
- Participate in food and beverage service,
- Clearing and cleaning during service,
- Maintain and clean service equipment,
- Liaise with the kitchen, commissary, cellar, stewarding, etc,
- Ensure that the store is stocked in such a way as to optimize conditions of use,
- Customer service skills
- Promote the various services and products available within the hotel and the Maisons Cheval Blanc,
- Inform your superiors of any "abnormal" situation concerning safety or the risk of accidents to customers or colleagues.
Your profile
Diploma/knowledge required :
- Hotel and restaurant training
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene rules
- Knowledge of luxury hotels or star-rated restaurants
- Good gastronomic culture
Behavioral skills :
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong representative potential,
- Excellent reception and customer service skills, courtesy and tact,
- Rigor, precision, organization and attention to detail,
- Availability, flexibility and adaptability,

- Desire to progress in the hospitality industry
Know-how / Technical skills required :
- Sales and communication skills,
- Knowledge of Pack Office and Micros is a plus
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
