Become a Banquet Apprentice at Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel !

Reporting to the Banquet Manager, your main role will be to ensure quality service !

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Relations
• Greet clients and guests with professionalism and courtesy
• Provide attentive, discreet service tailored to the event type (seminars, conventions, etc.)
• Listen to specific needs and ensure follow-up throughout the service
• Contribute to overall client satisfaction through exemplary conduct and quality service
• Represent and enhance the establishment's image

Event Organization and Service
• Ensure the setup of halls and reception areas (tables, buffets, technical equipment, etc.)
• Contribute to the smooth execution of services (cocktails, meals, breaks) in coordination with the teams.
• Adapt your pace and organization according to the schedule and requirements of each event.
• Familiarize yourself in advance with service details, menus, and client specific requirements.
• Ensure spaces are restored to their original state after each event (tidying, cleaning).

Management and Logistics
• Adhere to internal procedures and contribute to the smooth execution of services.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and minimize the risk of damage.
• Assist with receiving and storing goods, and with inventories if necessary.

Development and Service Quality
• Promote the services offered during events.
• Proactively suggest solutions to meet client expectations.
• Contribute to client retention through impeccable service.

Hygiene, Safety, and Environment
• Strictly adhere to hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
• Ensure the cleanliness of work and reception areas.
• Follow the establishment's safety guidelines.

About You

• Currently studying (BTS, Bachelor in Hospitality/Restaurant Management) or open to anyone motivated by this sector, regardless of their initial background, subject to validation of their skills and motivation
• Prior experience in the restaurant industry is preferred
• Good command of professional English required
