The training
The French Institute of Hospitality (IFH) is dedicated to training the next generation of hospitality leaders, with a strong international and future-oriented focus.
Becoming a Leader
To train managers who combine practical knowledge with an entrepreneurial spirit, the Bachelor in Business and Hospitality (BBH) is built upon three educational pillars:
- Action-oriented business training : Independent and group entrepreneurial projects (e.g., Food Truck, pop-up restaurant), consulting assignments for our partner companies, Business Games, real-world case studies
- Hands-on learning of hospitality skills : intensive internship at the Château, workshops in our training kitchens, service training at our partner hotels, emphasis on work-study programs
- Continuous focus on essential soft skills for the luxury world : demeanor and language, rules of etiquette, general knowledge, codes of high-end service
Experience extraordinary things
IFH's curriculum focuses on tomorrow's challenges that the luxury and hospitality industries will face.
- Innovation : AI, new economic models, social media
- CSR : sustainable development, short supply chains, health and wellness
- International : world languages and cultures, geopolitics and international finance
Build your professional network
The school is a place for learning, but also for friendly and professional networking. IFH provides its students with access to a vast network of professionals (Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, General Managers of Parisian Palaces, executives from multinational corporations…). They also receive tailored support to find the best apprenticeships and internships, with over 100 partner offers.
Discover the world
The hospitality sector offers fantastic international career opportunities within a context of globally recognized French expertise. The French Institute of Hospitality is resolutely outward-looking and aims to enable its students to discover the world. IFH's work-study programs are designed to allow students to work abroad for periods of up to 6 months.
Learn to create
IFH supports its students in their professional ambitions, whether as employees of large corporations or as entrepreneurs. Dedicated course modules, collaborative creation projects, an incubator, and mentor identification make this possible. Starting in their second year, students engage with entrepreneurship and are invited to lead a hospitality or F&B project of their choice from start to finish (Food Truck, pop-up restaurant, pop-up store, DNVB), with the goal of independently operating a profitable business.

Is it a disadvantage to have no experience in hotel/restaurant/luxury?
It is not a disadvantage. All applications are studied in depth by the admission team on the basis of multiple factors (grades, evaluations, extra-curricular activities and the motivations presented during the admission interview).
Are there specializations to focus on in high school to join IFH?
IFH Bachelor programs are open to all high school students, regardless of the field (general, technological, professional), and regardless of the specialisations/options chosen in Premier/Terminale.

Yes, IFH has a vast network of partners in France and abroad that it makes available to its students. IFH also has exclusive work/internship offers, reserved for the school's students.
Does IFH offer support to find an apprenticeship or an internship?
Of course! IFH pays particular attention to the professional opportunities of its students. They benefit from personalized support in three stages: orientation, coaching, and networking with partner companies.
How does admission to the French Hotel Institute take place?
The selection is carried out in two phases:
i. Eligibility phase: study of the file (newsletters and CV)
ii. Admission phase (for candidates declared eligible): written test (writing and logical skills) and oral test (motivation, quality of the professional project, oral fluency).
What is prioritized in the evaluation of the file to join the IFH?
The admissions team focuses on two areas of assessment: the quality of the professional project and the motivation of the candidate.
When are eligibility results (and, if applicable, admission results) published?
The IFH process is done on a “rolling” basis: once the file is submitted, it will be examined by the admission team within 3 weeks. In case of eligibility, slots for the admission exams are offered. After these, the candidate receives an admission response within 2 to 3 weeks.
What are the opportunities for IFH?
IFH courses give access to all professions in the hotel and catering industry (hotel manager, restaurant manager, etc.) but also to luxury professions (event, marketing or sales manager in major fashion/wine/spirits houses) and to business jobs in the broad sense (financial analyst, entrepreneur, etc.)
