The Restaurant Le Valmy, located within the Novotel Nantes Centre Gare, welcomes a diverse clientele: business travelers, tourists, families, groups, and seminars.

Our restaurant is getting a makeover. You will be involved in this exciting project, which will unfold in three phases. This includes preparing operations before and during the renovation, but most importantly, helping us prepare for the launch of this new chapter.  

We are looking for our future apprentice server to join our front-of-house team.

Your responsibilities:

Under the guidance of your mentor, you will learn to:

• Prepare the dining area before service
• Welcome and seat guests with a smile
• Advise guests on dishes and drinks
• Take orders
• Provide table service
• Contribute to bar service as you develop
• Clear, reset, and maintain the dining area
• Comply with HACCP and company quality standards.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty

Every day will be an opportunity to learn new skills.

You are studying for a:

• CAP in Sales and Services for Hotels, Cafes, and Restaurants
• Vocational Baccalaureate in Sales and Services
• BTS in Hotel and Restaurant Management
• or any other restaurant-related qualification.

Conditions

• Contract: Apprenticeship / Work-study
• Position based in Nantes
• Le Valmy Restaurant – Novotel Nantes Centre Gare
• Start date: as soon as possible
• Compensation: according to the apprenticeship pay scale
