Apprentice Receptionist (M/F)

MISSION:

The Apprentice Receptionist welcomes guests and provides them with information throughout their stay, from arrival to departure. He/She strives to ensure optimal guest satisfaction and is responsible for ensuring that all their needs and wishes are handled courteously, professionally, and efficiently.

He/She must be fully available to guests to offer them quality service and ensure guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Is fully informed of daily arrivals and departures
• Warmly and smilingly welcomes guests upon their arrival at the hotel
• Addresses guests by name, at least at the beginning and end of each interaction
• Handles guest check-in and check-out, adhering to procedures and credit rules
• Processes billing for services, collects payments, and monitors deferred payments
• Provides disbursement services for guests, adhering to the credit limits set by the hotel
• Knows and promotes the Accor Group's ALL program
• Prepares the control report for the Housekeeper and reports any discrepancies
• Informs the Security Department of any suspicious presence (object or person) or abnormal situation in the lobby or on the floors

SKILLS & QUALITIES:

• Hospitality training
• Fluent in French and perfectly bilingual in English
• Knowledge of a third language (Chinese, Mandarin, Spanish…)
• Proficiency in office software
