Job description
The Apprentice Receptionist role is one of the leading roles offered by The Ascott Limited. As a Singaporean international leader in the aparthotel market, their ideal 'feature film' script is the complete satisfaction of their Leisure and Business guests!
To win the Oscar for Best Apprentice Receptionist at our 3-star aparthotel Citadines Wilson in Toulouse, your mission is to do everything possible to ensure every guest receives a personalized and high-quality welcome. Pay attention, every detail counts!
Once they've been welcomed, their stay with us can begin! Until their departure, you'll need to offer them advice, comfort, a listening ear, and even solve their many 'riddles'! So play your best roles, and our guests will give you the best reviews, and the Cita Family will recognize your talent!
In your daily scenes, you'll find the following checklist, #todo:
- Manage guest arrivals: physical and administrative check-in (don't worry, training is provided).
- Respond in writing to various guest requests: comments, email, chat.
- Advise our guests: answer their varied requests throughout your shift.
- Handle administrative tasks: mainly reservation checks, postings, etc.
- Sell the various products and services offered by the residence: upgraded accommodation, daily housekeeping service, parking, breakfast, 'ASR' loyalty program, etc.
- And if you wish, other tasks can be assigned to you to develop your skills!
As you can see, you won't get bored in the Apprentice Receptionist role at The Ascott Limited!
In this role, you'll have the chance to meet people from all over the world and play a multitude of different roles. It's up to you to adapt, but don't worry, you'll be surrounded by great teams!
However, some criteria are essential to apply for the Apprentice Receptionist role:
- You are pursuing a degree in hospitality and are looking for an apprenticeship contract.
- As an international actor you speak fluently French and English (at least).
- You master IT tools like a 2.0 spy.
- You enjoy working with the entire film crew.
- Your former producers praise your sense of hospitality and customer relations.
- You perfectly embody dynamism, thoroughness, and organization.
But ultimately, why would you choose Ascott production for your apprenticeship?
Firstly, because our production house takes care of its actors by offering numerous benefits:
- A real estate collective bargaining agreement: 35-hour contract, paid and compensated public holidays, etc.
- Two consecutive days off per week, including one Saturday & Sunday per month.
- A meal voucher card and 50% reimbursement of transport costs.
- A tutor who will take care to integrate you and pass on their skills throughout your apprenticeship!
- A second year of work-study in a new filming location, a new set! And potentially a new role, why not?
- A profit-sharing / participation scheme and an advantageous health insurance.
- Advantageous rates at the group's establishments worldwide.
- Challenges with shopping vouchers to be won, as well as upsell bonuses.
- An employee representative committee (CSE) that offers holiday vouchers, gift cards, cinema tickets, reimbursements, and attractive offers every year.
- Internal recognition, exchange, and training programs.
- Geographical mobility and strong internal progression (more than two-thirds of our Assistant and Residence Managers come from internal promotion).
- Employees of all ages and backgrounds, events, a dynamic corporate social network, and a friendly and supportive work environment!
Still not convinced to apply? Here's what our internal team members have to say (based on a survey sent to our French Reception teams):
“I chose to work for Ascott...
- ...because it's a large international group with a positive image and opportunities for learning and growth.”
- ...because the recruitment criteria were more open – professional experience was valued more than academic qualifications.”
“If I were to leave the group, what I would miss most would be...
- ...my colleagues, the family atmosphere, the team spirit! But also the kindness and availability of management, which is rare elsewhere.”
- ...the work atmosphere, being part of a close-knit team, my work environment, and the group itself, which I genuinely like.”
So, what are you waiting for? Apply now and land your best apprenticeship role yet?!
