Company description

Since 1923, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche has been home to a uniquely refined grocery store on its ground floor, now located in a neighboring building on the corner of the historic rue de Sèvres. As a true Parisian landmark, La Grande Épicerie de Paris spans 2,900 m² and offers 30,000 products, many of them exclusive or crafted in-house. Every day, pastry chefs, cooks, bakers, and apprentices work under the guidance of Remi Robert, Director of Gastronomy and Production. Each strives for excellence while honoring tradition, creating the most unexpected recipes.
The House’s “product experts,” true encyclopedias of good taste, travel across the regions to bring back their singular discoveries. In 2013, after 18 months of renovations, the opening of the suspended restaurant La Table on the first floor and La Cave in the basement confirmed La Grande Épicerie’s place as an unmissable destination for epicureans.
On November 9, 2017, La Grande Épicerie expanded to the Right Bank, on the lively rue de Passy. Selection, generosity, expertise, authenticity, quality, rarity, and passion — the very spirit of La Grande Épicerie — has been transported to this new location, enriched with unique features. Its décor, a true tribute to gourmet excellence, elevates products from the simplest to the most sophisticated, showcasing exceptional know-how. Each floor holds surprises, with increasing tasting areas, while the top level, bathed in natural light, is entirely dedicated to the Le Rive Droite restaurant.
